Paul Garny embarked on his journey in the healthcare sector early. His initial foray into uniformed services commenced with a role as a Medical Service Specialist. Subsequently, he advanced to become a Flight Nurse (46N3F). The culminating position in his service career was that of a Critical Care Nurse. During this period, he achieved his final promotion to Second Lieutenant-Captain. Assuming the role of Officer In Charge, Paul shouldered a multitude of pivotal responsibilities and tasks.
Throughout his career, Paul Garny has occupied various medical positions. Between 2006 and 2013, he served as an Infection Control Officer, contributing to Pandemic Planning and Infection Control efforts. Additionally, Paul played a crucial role in instructing staff members on bio-hazard management and health-related topics during this period. Preceding this role, from 2003 to 2006, Paul held the position of Senior Clinical Nurse at the Federal Medical Center in Devens, Massachusetts.
Currently, Paul Garny holds the position of Director of Operations at Care in Vermont. Before this he was the Assistant Health Services Administrator at the Federal Medical Center Devens in Massachusetts. His association with the institution dates back to 2013, and he recently oversaw a team of twenty Health Services PHS Officers and staff members. Within this capacity, Paul undertook many crucial duties, encompassing activities such as interviewing, leading, coordinating, transitioning, and evaluating. Additionally, Paul assumes several roles under his singular title, including Program Manager, Project Director, Chair Member, and Mentor.
Thanks to his career, Paul Garny has amassed an extensive educational background. His academic journey commenced with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fitchburg State University. Following this accomplishment, Paul secured his Master of Science in Healthcare Management from Touro University.
